Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Jory Golf platform ("Jory", "the Service") operated by Jory Golf ("we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Jory provides a web-based platform for golf tournament and league management, including event creation, live mobile scoring, leaderboard generation, golfer roster management, and Golf Canada handicap integration.

3. Account Registration

To use the Service, you must:

  • Provide accurate and complete registration information.
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials.
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Each individual may maintain only one account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service or its related systems.
  • Scrape, crawl, or use automated means to access the Service without our written permission.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.
  • Upload or transmit viruses, malware, or other harmful code.

5. Subscription and Billing

The Service is offered under the following annual subscription plans:

  • Club — TBD
  • Association — TBD

Subscriptions are billed annually. You may cancel at any time, and your access will continue until the end of your current billing period. There are no cancellation fees or long-term contracts.

6. Intellectual Property

The Jory platform, including its design, code, features, and branding, is owned by Jory Golf and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the Service without our written consent.

7. User Data

You retain ownership of all data you enter into the Service. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process, store, and display your data as necessary to provide the Service.

8. Third-Party Services

The Service integrates with third-party services including Golf Canada (GolfNet) and Resend. Your use of these integrations is subject to the respective third-party terms and conditions. We are not responsible for the practices or policies of third-party services.

9. Event Results and Public Access

Event results and leaderboards can be shared with spectators via PIN-based access. As the club administrator, you control which events are publicly accessible and are responsible for the distribution of access PINs.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Jory Golf shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or use, arising out of or related to your use of the Service.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. While we make reasonable efforts to maintain uptime and reliability, we do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Jory Golf, its officers, directors, and employees from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Province of Ontario.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or by posting a notice on the platform. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
