How do I get started with Jory?

Fill out the form on our Get Started page and we’ll set up your club account. From there you can add your courses, import your golfer roster, and create your first event — all from the web dashboard.

How long does it take to set up?

Most clubs are up and running within a day. You can import your golfer roster via CSV, add your courses (or import them from GolfNet), and create your first event right away.

Do I need to install anything?

No. Jory is entirely web-based. Administrators manage everything from a browser, and players score on their phones — no app download required.

Can I import my existing golfer data?

Yes. You can import golfers via CSV upload or sync them directly from GolfNet if your club is registered with Golf Canada.

What scoring formats are supported?

Jory supports Stroke Play, Best Ball, and Scramble formats. You can configure scoring per round and per event, with support for both gross and net scoring using handicap indices.

No. Players scan a QR code or enter a PIN to access the scoring interface on their phone. No app download or account creation required.

Yes. If your club is registered with Golf Canada, you can sync golfer data and handicap indices through the GolfNet integration. Scores can be posted back to Golf Canada automatically.

Yes. Jory includes a full-screen TV leaderboard mode that updates in real time as scores are entered. Just open the leaderboard URL on any browser-equipped TV or display.

Leagues support recurring weekly events with configurable rosters, standings, and points systems. You can set up a full season schedule and track standings across all rounds.

How is my data secured?

All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Passwords are hashed using bcrypt. Access is controlled through role-based permissions, and the platform is hosted on secure, managed infrastructure.

Your data is stored in a PostgreSQL database on secure infrastructure. We comply with PIPEDA (Canada’s federal privacy law) and do not sell or share your data for advertising purposes.

No. Both plans include unlimited golfers, events, rounds, and courses. Run as many leagues and tournaments as you need.

What does white-label include?

On the Association plan, all public-facing pages — event websites, leaderboards, and scoring interfaces — display your logo and branding with no Jory branding visible. You can also serve everything from your own custom domain.

What if I need to cancel?

You can cancel anytime. There are no long-term contracts or cancellation fees. Your data remains accessible until the end of your billing period.
